April 25

Temperature is about 45F, cloud cover is mostly cloudy.  Winds of about 10mph from the E, moving parallel to the warm front to the SE.  Slight rain this morning for our area, we can expect more as these fronts move across the nation. The stationary front from yesterday is holding strong from Montana thru Iowa, where it hits a L pressure system.  A warm front is extending SE from there and is producing precipitation over the Carolinas.  These systems will likely move up the E coast toward the New England region.  To the W there is a surface trough running on the W side of the Rocky Mountains, and there is quite a bit of precipitation from Washington down to California.  On a personal note, today is my senior recital at 730 in Phillips auditorium, on String Bass and I am glad that the temperatures have dropped down from yesterday because will already be sweating enough.
