May 3

Temperature was about 75F, winds of about 8mph from the SW and cloud cover is completely overcast.  Our area has had several storm in the last couple days and today we've had scattered storms and will likely have another one this evening.  In Wisconsin now extending W to the Rockies is a cold front and moving behind that is a bit of a stationary/cold front.  Eau Claire is caught in the middle of the fronts and we are getting the SW wind moving through this tunnel between the fronts.  To the E wrapping is a warm front that is providing the mixing of air to create these storm systems over Canada/Michigan/Wisconsin.  Over the next couple days, the winds should move these storm systems along into the New England and the cold front to our N will likely move S.
